Booking & Process

How do I book a session with you?
Send an enquiry through the contact form and I’ll reply within 48 hours with my availability and a tailored quote. To confirm your booking, you accept the quote, sign the contract and pay the 20% booking fee.
How far in advance should I book?
I’m busy throughout the year, so the earlier the better. My busiest times are the school holidays (April, June to July, and September to October), and especially from the beginning of December to mid-January. If you’d like a date in one of these periods, I’d suggest booking well in advance.
What happens if it rains on the day?
If it’s raining, or the weather makes it impossible to shoot, we’ll find a suitable alternative location or choose another date together, at no extra charge. If your date can’t move, for example a family celebration, we’ll find an alternative location, and if that isn’t possible, my studio is there as a backup.

Sessions & Locations

Where are you based?
My studio, Studio 039, is in Sea Park on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, and I’m happy to travel.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes. There’s no travel fee between Umzumbe and Umtentweni. Beyond that, a travel fee applies, and for destinations further afield, travel and accommodation are included in your quote.
03

Delivery & Editing

How many images will I receive?
It depends on your collection and the number of people in your session. Each family, maternity and couple collection includes a set number of edited images, while corporate, event and property work depends on the brief. Everything is set out clearly in your quote.
How long until I get my photos back?
Family, portrait and couple sessions are delivered within 4 to 8 weeks, often sooner. Maternity sessions are delivered within 2 to 4 weeks, so you have your photographs before baby arrives. Corporate and property work is delivered within seven working days. Rush turnaround is possible for an additional fee.
Will you edit individual photos on request?
Every image is hand-selected by me and individually retouched. Posed portraits are retouched for a natural, polished finish, and lifestyle images are colour corrected or graded, with small distractions removed. More advanced work, such as composites or major changes to a scene, is quoted per image.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a session cost?
Every project is different, so pricing depends on the type of session, the location and what’s included. Send me an enquiry and I’ll get back to you within 48 hours with a written quote.
How does payment work?
A 20% booking fee secures your date, and the balance is due one week before your session. Payments are handled through Studio Ninja, my booking system, and you’ll receive a secure link with your quote.
Do you offer prints?
Yes. I offer photographic prints, canvas prints and albums, made by trusted professional suppliers.
