WOW – what an amazing couple. Avalon and Wimpie met approximately 3 years ago in Shelly Beach whilst on holiday. They have been engaged for 7 months and wanted to celebrate their engaged by revisiting the very place where they had met and had had that first kiss. (how romantic…right). So Avalon contacted me and asked for an engagement shoot. Both Wimpie and Avalon are adventure seekers, they love the outdoors, motorbikes and of course each other. Avalon is also a photographer and photography is in the family. ¬†She knows what she wants – great photos. After a few weeks of planning , mood boards were created that best depict their style and personalities.

Days leading up to the shoot, Avalon contacted me rather concerned about the weather prediction. My words were “It is one thing we can’t change….we will deal with it on the day”. Well, the prediction was rain and wind…..with the wind dying day towards the afternoon. I had arranged a warehouse and a restaurant just in case we could not shoot outdoors, but I wanted to shoot outdoors because that is what Avalon and Wimpie wanted. Well, on the day, it never mind rained, it poured. But I had a plan and was not concerned about the rain.

Thanks to Sean Roberts for bringing the Harley to the shoot and for the use of the warehouse. Thanks to Sam from the Packshed for letting us use the restaurant.

Thanks Avalon and Wimpie. You guys are amazing and I had great fun.
